ABA Therapy for Children with Autism

Therapy that happens where your child already lives and learns.

Maple Street ABA brings BCBA-designed programs into the home and the classroom — the two places new skills actually have to hold up.

Serving families in Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio and Virginia.

What we do

One team, built around the settings that matter most.

Every program starts with an assessment by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, is delivered by trained behavior technicians, and gets reviewed on a set schedule — not just when something goes wrong.

Home-based ABA

Sessions in the room where the behavior actually happens — mornings, mealtimes, transitions, bedtime.

  • Communication and language building
  • Daily living and self-care routines
  • Reducing behaviors that get in the way

School-based ABA

A technician alongside your child in the classroom, coordinating with the teacher and the IEP team rather than working around them.

  • Attending, waiting, following group instruction
  • Peer interaction and play skills
  • Support through the parts of the day that break down

Caregiver training

Progress that only shows up when the technician is in the room isn't progress. Parents and siblings learn the same strategies.

  • Scheduled sessions with your BCBA
  • Plain-language plans, not jargon
  • Coaching in the moment, not just handouts

How it works

From your first call to your first session.

Four steps, in this order. We tell you where you are in them, and what we're waiting on.

Step 1

Intake call

Twenty minutes. What's going on, what you've already tried, and what a good outcome looks like for your family.

Step 2

Insurance

We check your coverage and handle the paperwork and approvals. You don't chase the insurer — we do.

Step 3

BCBA assessment

Direct observation and standardized measures, then a written treatment plan with goals you can actually recognize.

Step 4

Sessions begin

A consistent technician, a set schedule, and data reviewed by your BCBA with regular progress meetings.

Where we serve

Eight states, and growing.

Not sure whether we reach your town? Ask — the answer takes a day.

Insurance

We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid.

  • We check your benefits before you commit to anything.
  • You get your expected out-of-pocket in writing, up front.
  • We handle approvals and renewals so sessions don't stop.

Questions parents ask

The things worth knowing before you call.

Does my child need a diagnosis first?
For insurance to cover ABA, yes — typically a current autism spectrum diagnosis from a physician or psychologist. If you don't have one yet, tell us anyway; we can point you toward evaluators in your state.
How many hours a week is this?
It depends on the assessment, not on a package we sell. Focused programs targeting a few specific skills often run 10–15 hours a week; comprehensive early intervention can run considerably more. Your BCBA recommends a range and we revisit it as your child progresses.
Who is actually in my house?
A trained behavior technician runs the day-to-day sessions, supervised by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst who wrote the plan. Your BCBA is on site regularly. We aim to keep the same technician with your child, because consistency is part of the treatment.
Can you work with my child's school?
Yes. That's a distinct service and it requires the school's agreement. We coordinate with the teacher and IEP team so what we're teaching at home and what's expected in the classroom point the same direction.
How soon can we start?
Intake calls happen within a couple of business days. After that the timeline is mostly the insurer's: benefits and approval usually take a few weeks, assessment follows, and sessions begin once the plan is approved.
